Was originally planned as one of the upcoming launch titles for the Gamecube console just near release but shortly after Gamecube was out, only Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin 1, Wave Race, Smash Bros Melee, and a basketball NBA game. No further news about this mysterious game was ever brought up giving fans speculation if the game was either cancelled or still coming. However, it did turn out to be REPLACED by a rather terrible and boring sequel to the Hey You Pikachu game that was previously released on Nintendo 64 and also another bad game. Why was this horrendous garbage designed for kids ever got a sequel instead of the better looking and more promising Meowth's Party is beyond my thinking and clearly don't know what Game Freak were thinking back then at the time when they could have released it instead. As a result, Pokemon Channel received NEGATIVE critics knowing that the game was indeed boring and pointless! Thankfully, leftovers of the cancelled Meowth's Party exist from music to sound effects and even models! These leftovers likely come from previously released Pokemon games which could mean that the devs were tightly low budget about this game or the fact they just wanted to work on something that go out the door for filthy quick cash grab while most fans don't want this. Meowth's Party was indeed the Pokemon game we're supposed to get for Gamecube! Additional note about the song, this is a vocaless version which I think would be easier for those who might be interested to work on a midi from this song. This song was originally and previously heard from the Japanese ending of the Pokemon anime during season 2! (Orange Islands series with the debut of Tracey Sketchit while Brock was away for only 1 season until he returned the next season when Ash went to Johto) I am not interested in adding the vocals for the midi, I only want the bass and drums and the leading instrument playing in the karaoke version. Please make this! I cannot find a midi of this song it's too hard to find! :(
